I've across a lot of sites that claim that tea tree oil for genital warts is the ultimate cure. It's the panacea of the Genital Wart world, if you like. Unfortunately I've never seen anything to back up this view: no science, no reasons why it should work.
What is Tea Tree Oil? Genital Warts?
Tea tree oil is a natural homeopathic remedy that originates in Australia. Like many age-old recipes, the natives to that country have used tea tree oil for centuries to cure ailments from stings and bites to lost heads and car accidents. It seems to work for them.
Psycho-Schematic...
The reason tea tree oil works on genital warts is that your body tells itself that it's going to get better. And you will probably feel a little less pain for a while, and you will be comforted slightly. Unfortunately for you, genital warts is a virus, and it's not going to go away by putting some plant juice on it. It's a nice idea, but no way Jose. Sorry.
So what would work?
The quick, direct, 100% sure solution is talking to you doctor and see what (s)he recommends. This will work in the long run for everyone.
An alternative is to try Wartol's new bottled solution which -- they claim -- does genuinely help. Unlike tea tree oil, Wartol use methods and ingredients that use science and fact to battle the direct cause behind the genital warts.
I've heard good things about Wartol, but I wouldn't stake my life on it working. Worth a try? It's got to be.
